The text is about the loss process of Amber Room through three people’s statements. As the linguistic focus, students should learn to tell whether a statement is a fact or an opinion.

Analysis
As for the linguistic language, it’s not difficult for students at this grade to distinguish a fact and an opinion. They can use some sentences to express their opinion such as I think… Why not? ...As for the cultural knowledge, students at this age must know some famous cultural relics around the world. Taking the students’ affective domain into consideration, although Grade 1 students know about those famous cultural relics, they pay less intention to the protection of those cultural relics.
