Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up & Revision
1. Greet the class.
2. Let’s do. (Open the door....)
3. Play Sharp games to review the words. Then spell the words. Then check some individuals to spell the words.
4. Point to the picture and ask What’s in the classroom?
Step 2 Presentation & Practice
1. Set the situation to learn We have a new classroom. Boys and girls, welcome back to school. This term we have a new friend. Then introduce the new Ss to the Ss. Then welcome the new S. Wow! I’m so excited. We have a new S and we also have a new classroom, too. Guide the S to know and understand the sentence We have a new classroom. Read and practise this sentence pattern with free talk. Ask the Ss to describe something with We have a new….
