Module1 Lost and found

教学内容:Unit 1 Whose bag is this?

课型:Listening and speaking

教学目标:

1、能够正确使用下列单某某和词组: crayon, eraser, glove, wallet, watch, whose, first of all, lose and found box, mine, yours tape, purple, hers, be careful with, from now on.

2、能够听懂有关失物招领的简短对话;

3、能用名词性物主代词来谈论、寻找失物主人。

4、学习英语文明礼貌的询问和回答方式,拾金不昧的做人原则和助人为乐的优良品质。

教学重难点:

1、能够听懂有关失物招领的简短对话。

2、能够正确使用特殊疑问句“Whose…is this/that? 对物品的所属进行提问及其回答。

教学准备:

本课指导学生通过听力获取信息,培养学生听力技能。课堂上采用多媒体手段辅助教学,在轻松愉快的氛围中,在较真实的语境下,并联系学生生活实际,结合已有的知识和经验,运用所学的语言基础知识自我学习、互相学习,让学生在语言实践中相互启发、生成,体验成功。培养学生的合作精神,发展其思维和想象等能力。在教学过程中,采用多媒体手段辅助教学,利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。因此,本节课需准备:PPT课件、挂图、录音机、课堂练习表格、奖品。

预习要求:

根据音标自学本课新单某某;

查找相关资料,找出你认为本课较重要的语言点和短语。

Step One

Warming-up (3’)

Lead in

1.Organize the Ss to enjoy and sing the song “Whose pen is it?”

2. Free talk:

Is this…?

Whose…is it?



1. Listen to the song and try to sing with the video..

2. Talk with the teacher and partners.

让学生在听歌和free talk的过程中感受新的语言项目,通过这个环节,既可以活跃课堂气氛,还调动了学生的学习兴趣。





Step Two

Pre-task(5’)

Task: Check the new words.

1.Show some pictures and things to get the students to say out the new words.

e.g. T: What’s this?

T: Is this a bag, too?

T: Is this wallet yours?

T: Whose wallet is this?

2.Organize the students to ask and answer with their own things.

3.Ask the Ss to match the words from the box with the pictures.(Activity 1)



1.See the pictures and things to say out the new words.

S: It’s a bag.

S: No, it isn’t. It’s a wallet.

S: No, it isn’t mine. (Yes, it is.)

S: It’s … (板书重点句型)

2. Ask and answer with their own things in pairs.

e.g. S1: Whose are these crayons yours?

S2: They’re mine.

S3: Is this watch yours?

S4: No, it isn’t.

S3: Whose watch is it?

S4: It’s …

3. Match the words from the box with the pictures.

引导学生谈论实物及ppt上的图片,检查学生对词汇的掌握程度,训练学生的表达能力,通过图片、情景学单某某,做到词不离句。然后结合所学的词汇用学生的物品进行口头操练重点句型。



Step Three

While-task (20’)

Task1:Listening

(1). Play the tape, ask students to listen and answer the questions, then check. (Activity 2)

(2).Guide the students to listen to the conversation in Activity 3.

Task 2: Reading

(1) Organize the students to read the conversation with the video.

(2).Ask the Ss to work with their groups to read the conversation.

(3). Organize the students to match the people with their things.

(4).Organize the students to check their answers one by one.

Task 3: Solve the language points

(1).Organize students to come to the blackboard and show out some difficult language points that they found.

(2).Help the students to solve the difficult points.

Task4: Retell the dialogue

(1)Ask students to complete the passage.

(Activity 5)

(2)Ask two of the students to retell the dialogue.



(1). Listen to the tape and answer the questions.

(2). Listen to the conversation in Activity 3 and answer the questions:

①What’s in the lost and found box?

②Whose watch is it? (A. It’s Daming’s. B. It’s Betty’s.)

(1)Read the conversation with the video.

(2) Read the conversation in groups.

(3). Read the conversation again and match the people with their things.

(4). Check the answers one by one.

(1). Students come to the blackboard to show out some language points, the other students listen to them carefully and note .

(2).solve the difficult points. with the teacher’s help.

Students complete the passage.

(2)Two students retell the dialogue, the others listen.

利用听读,练习的方式加强学生对课文的理解,培养学生细节听力的技巧,能够听取信息,训练和培养学生细节听力技巧。

通过看视频听读对话,帮助学生进一步理解课文内容。

小组活动能通过学生间的自主、合作学习,让学生充分地实践运用语言,并培养团结合作精神。

通过让学生上台展示他们所找的语言点,既培养了学生的胆量,又培养了他们自主学习的能力。

教师、补充语言点,让学生进一步理解知识点。

通过复述对话,加深对课文的掌握,同时也锻炼了口语。





Step Four

Post-task

(9’)

Task:Do some speaking

(1)Show some pictures and things to organize the students to talk about them like this:

A: Is this…his/hers/ours?

B: Yea/No.

A: Whose…is it?

B: It’s…

(2). Have the Ss act out their new dialogues.

Ask students to do some

Exercises and then check.



(1). Make dialogues in groups with the teacher’s help.

(2). Act out the new dialogues.

(3)Do the exercises, then check.



通过做对话训练学生说的能力,能使学生加深对课文内容的理解,适量的口头练习,让学生巩固本课时的语言重点。

通过笔头练习,进一步巩固所学。





Step Five

Summary(2’)

1.Get the students to sum up the language points.

引导学生对这节课的总结,让学生做自由发言,培养学生自主学习,自主总结的良好学习习惯。

1. Scanning

(1)Ask students to scan the passage.

T: There is a big Lost and Found office in New York.

There are many things in it. Please scan the passage and answer the question:

“What things are there at the lost and found office in New York City?”

2. Skimming

Ask students to skim the passage.

T: There are many lost things in the Lost and Found Office, many people come here to find their things. Do you want to learn more about it? Now, please skim the passage and answer the questions in Activity 2.
