教学过程：

Step one: Warning—up

Greeting

Oral communication

T : Hello , I am …,What’s your name ?

T : What’s your favorite animal ?

Chant—The animal sounds song: cat finger, cat finger. What do you see ? I see a cat. I see a cat. Meow! Meow! Meow! dog finger, dog finger. What do you see ? Woof! Woof! Woof! pig finger, pig finger, What do you see ? I see a pig. Oink! Oink! Oink! duck finger, duck finger. What do you see ? I see a duck. I see a duck. Quack! Quack! Quack!

Step Two: Presentation

Show a picture of an animal.

Show a picture of a dog and ask “What’s it ”? Guide students to answer with sentence pattern. It’s a/an…

Pointing to the prop bear in the corner and asking “What is it?”

Ask the students whether they live them to introduce the topic “We love animals”

Post the remaining animal pictures

The teachers verbal and action description features show two animals words cat and bear in turn.

The teacher writes animal words on the blackboard and let the students read the words in rising and falling tones.

Play a guessing game

Divide the students into two groups, show a card to one group member and then immediately over it up while the other group member guesses what animal is it.

The team that guesses correctly gets a star and the team with more star win.

Play this game to add new words duck and monkey.

Act like an animal

Ask the students to invitate the action and show it to the other students.

Let the other students guess and give him a candy.

The students connect the small animals on the paper with the house on it

After the students finish linking. They can read the pictures of small animals by themselves.

Then listen to the tape and read after the tape.

T : Boys and girls. Let’s read the dialogue after the tape. Please listen carefully.

Reading the test freely

T : Let’s read the dialogue in roles. Who wants to be WuYiFan ? Who wants to be Mike ? Let’s find the best pair.

Game. Guess what it is show some pictures of animals body parts and stationery.

T : Look at this picture. It’s a part of an animal. What’s this? Guess! (Guide the students to use sentence patterns—It’s a/an…, back and forth)

Listen to the animal cry and guess the name of the animal.

T : Next, listen to the sound and guess what’s this?

T : This is the sound of a duck. Quack! Quack! Quack! The sound of a dog. It sound of a dog. It says Woof! Woof! Woof! (Let’s the students understand the words in English ones of animals.)

T : Who can say the sound of the animals? Please ask : What’s this ?

T : Let’s do a pair work. Ask and answer pair.

T : Show you dialogue, please let’s find the best pair (first listen to the real animal cry to guess the animal, this activity is relatively easy then explain the words that mean the sound of thieves. Let the students learn now to express the sound of animal in English. After the demonstration material activity and the two-person ground activity)

T : Let’s practice the key interesentences and answers in the dialogue.

Toy swap

Let’s take our toys and practice saying “Look I have bear/pig …”

The teacher asks the students to exchange toys and show their new toys to one of the students at will, or the teacher assigns one of the students to show the new toys to other students show and say :Look! I have a bear/pig …The listener uses the interjection Wow! Cool! Great! Super! React and make the animal sound.

Teachers can also give play to the students’ performance ability and compare to see who imitate the most realistic animal sounds and physical features.

4.Silent speech

Tell the students that the teacher is going to use a different way to say the sentence-say it without making a sound. Look at the teacher’s mouth and guess what the teacher says, say the sentences in this unit, I have a duck. I have a monkey…

5.Cards game

Put the animal cards on the side and the pictures on the other side work

in pairs. Each person will draw one word card and one picture card are the same word, the victory will be won. Finally, compare who hands more cards, who is the winner.

6.Heads up

1) I’m an animal. I’m very cute. Meow! Meow! Meow! Guess it.

7.Passing Game

Through play the game of passing and teacher say a word. Then, students will show the picture. There will be prizes for correct answers. In order to give the students a deeper impression.

8.Do as I say

1)When the teacher gave the order, the class stood up and did the movements.

2) Anyone who makes a mistake can sit down anytime. In the end, the group with the most students standing will win.

9.Discordered letters combine words

1) Make letter cards—a, b, c, d, e…

2) Divide the students into small groups

10.Practice the words by playing Gun Game and Chain Game check up individuals

11.Have a rest, play a game, show out the four-six pictures of the animals, have the students watch carefully and then close the eyes. At this time, the teacher take one away and make the students open the eyes, then guess : What’s missing ?

1.Put up all the word cards on board. Read all together

Present five groups of words: cat-fat, pig-big, dog-log, duck-truck, bear-pear

Lead the student to read the new words by themselves
