年龄表示法种种
表示“某人…岁”：
（1）.of＋数词,此短语只能作后置定语，修饰前面的名词，数词后不用years old.
例如：At that time he was just a boy of sixteen.
（2）.at the age of＋数词，此短语用作状语，of后不用years old；作表语时省去介词,只用age.
例1：at the age of twelve Edison began selling newspapers on a train.
例2：When I was your age, I was made to work day and night.
（3）.be＋数词＋years old

例如：When Marx was in his fifties, he began to learn Russian.
（2）be＋over"past＋数词.
例如：Grandpa Wang is over seventy.
4.表示某人差不多…岁 ，用be＋almost"about＋数词：
例1：The girl is almost eighteen.
例2. My father is about fifty.
5.表示某人还不到…岁，用be not＋数词＋yet或be not＋quite＋数词表示：
例1. My little sister is not five yet.
例2. My little sister is not quite five.
