Teaching and learning Goals:
一、功能：通过谈论音乐和电影表达爱好。
二、掌握词汇和常用表达：prefer, Australian, electronic, suppose, smooth, spare, director, in that case, war.
三、学习策略：由相似句式归纳出定语从句的语法知识，并运用语法知识正确地表达句子.
四、情感态度：正确认识音乐和歌手，感悟音乐之美，培养艺术情操。

Preview
Read from P65 to P66 and put the following into English orally. Then write them down without looking at the book.

Warm up and lead in
1 Guessing game
T: Do you love the song that I played before class?
Ss: Yes.
T: I love music and some singers. Do you want to know my favorite singer?
Ss: Yeah.
T: Now I tell you some information about her. Let’s read the sentences on the screen together.
Ss read them several times.
T: Can you put them into Chinese correctly?
Ss: Yes.
T: Which part is the attributive clause? What are they used for? What are the names of different parts?
Ss can anwer and understand the new grammar well.
【设计意图】首先，让学生读句子，感知英语中定语从句的形式；其次，叫学生译成汉语，不当之处让其他学生改正；然后，由形容词，词组再到句子修饰名词，让学生真正理解定语从句的含义；最后，启发学生理解，并能说出定语从句中的术语：什么是先行词，关系代词，及在定语从句中作何某某，由句式可知作什么语时关系代词可以省略等。为以后的内容和语法学习奠定坚实的基础。
