Teaching and learning Goals:
一、功能:通过谈论音乐和电影表达爱好。
二、掌握词汇和常用表达:prefer, Australian, electronic, suppose, smooth, spare, director, in that case, war.
三、学习策略:由相似句式归纳出定语从句的语法知识,并运用语法知识正确地表达句子.
四、情感态度:正确认识音乐和歌手,感悟音乐之美,培养艺术情操。

Preview
Read from P65 to P66 and put the following into English orally. Then write them down without looking at the book.

Warm up and lead in
1 Guessing game
T: Do you love the song that I played before class?
Ss: Yes.
T: I love music and some singers. Do you want to know my favorite singer?
Ss: Yeah.
T: Now I tell you some information about her. Let’s read the sentences on the screen together.
Ss read them several times.
T: Can you put them into Chinese correctly?
Ss: Yes.
T: Which part is the attributive clause? What are they used for? What are the names of different parts?
Ss can anwer and understand the new grammar well.
【设计意图】首先,让学生读句子,感知英语中定语从句的形式;其次,叫学生译成汉语,不当之处让其他学生改正;然后,由形容词,词组再到句子修饰名词,让学生真正理解定语从句的含义;最后,启发学生理解,并能说出定语从句中的术语:什么是先行词,关系代词,及在定语从句中作何某某,由句式可知作什么语时关系代词可以省略等。为以后的内容和语法学习奠定坚实的基础。
