Module 7 模块语法
一般过去时Ⅰ
◆概念：一般过去时表示过去发生而现在已经结束的事件、动作或情况。谓语动词要用过去式，除be动词的过去式有人称和数的变化外，其余实义动词的过去式都没有人称和数的变化。
◆be动词的过去式
be动词的过去式有两种形式：was是am和is的过去式，were是are的过去式。由此可知，主语是第一人称和第三人称单数形式时使用was，主语是第二人称或其他人称复数形式时某某were。
◆be动词用一般过去时的各种句式构成
①肯定句：主语＋was/were＋其他．
eg：I was born in China.我出生在中国。
②否定句：主语＋was/were＋not＋其他．
eg：I was not here yesterday.我昨天不在这儿。
③一般疑问句及其回答
结构：Was/Were＋主语＋其他？
答语：Yes，主语＋was/were./No，主语＋wasn't/weren't.
eg：—Were you twelve last year？去年你是12岁吗？
—Yes，I was./No，I wasn't.是的，我是。/不，我不是。
④特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词＋was/were＋主语＋其他？
eg：Where was she yesterday？她昨天在哪？
◆表示过去的时间状语
如：yesterday，yesterday morning/afternoon/evening，just now，last week/month/year/term/night等都应用过去时态。
eg：I saw him just now.我刚刚看见他了。

Ⅰ.用be动词的适当形式填空
1．There __was__ nobody here just now.
2．__Was__ it very cold in your city last year?
3．Lang Lang could play the piano when he __was__ only three years old.
4．—__Were__ you at school last night?
—No，I __was__ at home.
5.—__Are__ there any students in the classroom?
—No，there aren't.But there __were__ some half an hour ago.
6．What __were__ your classmates in your first school like?
Ⅱ.按要求完成句子
1．There was a football match on TV yesterday evening.(改为否定句)
__There__ __wasn't__ a football match on TV yesterday evening.
2．There were some oranges on sale just now.(改为一般疑问句，并作肯定和否定回答)
—__Were__ there __any__ oranges on sale just now?
—Yes，__there__ __were__./No，__there__ __weren't__．
