I、缩写/摘录
原文:
It is a beautiful day in June. The sun is hot. It's time to harvest strawberries and the strawberry fields are full of people. These people are picking strawberry. They are not farmers and they are picking fruit for fun. They can buy strawberries in a supermarket but it is cheaper to pick their own fruit. Strawberries from the farm are also flesher. Most people also like to pick their own fruit because it is a pleasant way to spend the afternoon.???????

Step 1 Free talk

Step 2 Brainstorm
头脑风暴游戏。(5分钟)紧紧围绕下列单词尽可能多的想出与此相关的单词或短语。引导学生复习有关词汇, 拓宽思维,让学生用已学过的单词来巧妙构思写作。把这些内容联系起来,使用起来更会得心应手。学生先独立完成,然后在小组内综合讨论,把所有相关单词及短语记录下来
(教师要求学生不看教材,并提示学生可分别从job, place, clothes, age, people 等方面进行思考。)

(一)对话改为短文
小学五年级PEP教材,对话。
根据对话设计问题让学生回答:
1. Do you have any new teachers?
2. Who are they?
3. Who’s your English teacher?
4. What’s he like?
5. Who’s father is he?
将问题连成短文:
I have three new teachers. They are a math teacher, an art teacher, an English teacher. Mr. Carter is our English teacher. He is tall and strong. He is Tim’s father.

New term begins. We see each other again, so we are happy. Another thing makes us happy, too. We have three new teachers. They are a math teacher, an art teacher and an English teacher. Our words carry huge weight. They may influence people for years, and even for a lifetime. They provide them with courage to go on or one more reason to give up.
When I was fourteen, my family moved to another city. Junior high was always a difficult time for me, and the move made my ninth-grade year even harder. I remember walking into the dining hall for the first time. The other kids had good friends with them, but I didn’t know anyone. I felt lonely and went to the nearest seat after getting some food. The kids beside me looked at me up and down and then laughed. I could feel my face turning red at that moment. Then one of the Kids broke the ice. “Man! You have one BIG nose!” I felt hurt and didn’t know what to say. I wanted to cry. But I managed a little smile---as if it didn’t hurt me at all. But it did. From then on, I would often look at myself in the mirror. I studied the big nose closely. It seemed that I was just living for my nose. Thankfully, I grew out of this influence finally. But it really took me twenty years.
There is another thing that is kept deep in my mind. I remember going through a terrible business failure. I lost everything. I called my dad for help and he told me a lot about how to deal with the failure. What he said gave me a lot of courage and confidence(信心)to go on with my business.

running dictation(跑式听写)。
这是一种能激活疲劳课堂的听写活动。教师把一段文字按句子拆分并顺序打乱贴在教室外的墙壁上,一般以10句为宜。学生3人一组,其中一人为跑步的人(runner), 把句子一句一句地记在脑海里,并反馈给组员写下来。另外两人,一人主要负责记录和排列句子顺序,一人负责纠正书写错误。等句子全部写下,三人一起把句子组成一段话,并由第三人呈现,第一个完成并排列好顺序的为胜利方。规则: runner不能带任何笔和纸,如果忘了句子的某一部分,可以回去再看这个句子。期间如果dictator 没能听清可重复句子,但不可告诉组员如何拼写。?
