Step 1. Warm-up
Let’s sing: Phonic song
Purpose: to review the sound they have leared in Grade 3
Let’s read: review the sound we have learned before
Purpose: to review the sound they have learned before
Step 2. Lead in
Let’s find: Listen to song and find the same sound
T: today we will learn with my new friend-Mr. Jones.let’s say hello to him
S: hello, Mr. Jones.
T: Mr. Jones will sing a song for us. Do you want to listen to this song?
Match the sound with the words and find out the same letter by students themselves.
Ask student to mark down the word and letter. And read them loudly.
Step 3. presentation
Let’s read: read the words with the sound /?u/
T :who can read these words for me?
Let’s chant
Make student to read the words with rhythm, in in this way, they can remember them easily
Task:Read the words
Present some words with the sound/?u/,and ask
student to spell the words by themselves. And then, read the word one by one.
Find the difference between / o / Vs / o-e/

Step 5. summary
