Unit 9 My favorite subject is science.

Section A(1a-2d)

一、教学目标

1.能掌握下列词汇:favorite,subject,P.E.,science,music,math,Chinese,geography,history,why,because,Monday,Friday,Saturday

2.能掌握以下句型:

①-What’s your favorite subject?

-My favorite subject is science.

②-What’s your favorite day?

-It’s Monday.

③-Why do you like P.E.?

-Because it’s fun.

④-How’s your day?

-It’s OK.

3.掌握学校科目的相关词汇及部分周几的表达方式。

4.学习询问和谈论别人或自己喜欢的学科并给出理由。(难点)

5.了解由what,who和why引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用。(难点)

二、重点难点

重点:

1.能掌握本节单词和句型。

2.掌握学校科目的相关词汇及部分周几的表达方式。

难点:

1.学习询问和谈论别人或自己喜欢的学科并给出理由。(难点)

2.了解由what,who和why引导的特殊疑问句的构成和使用。(难点)

一)导入新课

Lead in

1.Greet the Ss. Check the homework.

2.Let’s review the months we learned.

(Ss recite the months together. January,February,March,April...December)

T:What month do you like?

S1:February.

S2:March...

二)探究新知

Work on 1a

1.Look at the picture in activity 1a.Ask the students to match the words with the pictures.

2.Correct the answers.

3.Ask some students to read the words.

1a Answers:1.c,2.f,3.b,4.e,5.h,6.d,7.a,8.g

Work on 1b & 1c

1.Play the recording for the first time. Ask students to listen and circle the subjects they hear in 1a.

2.Play the recording for the second time. Correct the answers.

3.Ask students to practice the conversation in pairs.

4.Ask them to make their own conversations.

5.Invite volunteers to show their conversations.

学生听录音,记录听力内容,思考问题答案。分组进行角色扮演,练习对话并展示。检测学生的听力水平和对话水平。
