Step 1. Lead-in.
Ask students to watch a video to elicit the new lesson.
1）Talk about my after-school activities these days.
2) Talk about students’ favourite musicians and singers.
Step 2.Presentation.
1) Question: Do you have favourite song? What facts do you know about your favourite singer, band or song?
2) Read the text and summarize the main idea of the text.
Step3 While-reading
1. Teacher: Who can tell me the main idea of the text?
