Unit 4 English around the world
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m 唐莫某某. It’s my great honor to present my teaching here. My topic is “Unit 2 English around the world”.To make my presentation much clear, I am going to describe 6parts: analysis of teaching material, analysis of teaching aims, key and difficult points, analysis of students, teaching methods and learning methods, teaching procedures and blackboard design. Now, I am going to present them one by one.
Part 1 Analysis of teaching material
This topic of this unit is "English around the world", which mainly introduces the origin, change and development of the English language to English learners, so that students can further understand the necessity and significance of learning English well, so as to master the language.
Part 2 Analysis of teaching aims, key and difficult points
First, help students to understand the development of English in the world and the differences between British English and American English, especially common words such as flat and apartment, lift and elevator, rubber and eraser.
Second, help students to make a further study of the text;
Third, improve students’ reading kills and reading speed.
Based on the aims, I make the key points and difficult point as follow:
